Check back for information on our new facility that will be opening soon!

Dear Sandlot Members and Families,

Recently we made an announcement to our coaches and trainers that Sandlot Sports has accepted an offer from AT&T to lease our existing building. Consequently, we are currently in a transition period but we are very excited to announce we are simultaneously in process of obtaining a brand new building in close proximity!

The new facility will be managed under a slightly different business model, as explained to our coaches and trainers in the meeting. We will be a private facility (closed to the public) and continue to facilitate teams and lessons. Unfortunately, this does mean we will stop offering individual memberships in the near future. Please rest assured we will treat all individual members fairly and prorate any unused portion of a membership.

The Sandlot sincerely thanks you for your business over the past 5 years and hopes that we positively affected the lives of your children. Likewise, we sincerely hope we will be able to continue doing business with you at the new facility.

We will provide you with additional announcements with more specific details as soon as we are able to provide them to you.

Again, thank you for your patronage and understanding as we make this transition.

The Sandlot Black Sox 12U Premier team will be holding tryouts Saturday, December 5th and 19th at 11am at the Sandlot fields located at 16618 Mueschke Rd. If you cannot make one of the designated tryout dates, you can call and arrange a private workout.

We are currently looking for 2-3 Premier level players for the upcoming season and trip to Cooperstown. Any potential prospects will compliment an already strong core of players that enjoyed a very successful 2015 season. As mentioned, we ARE ATTENDING the World Series in Cooperstown June 25 - July 1. All positions are open for consideration (we do have a specific needs for catchers, pitchers, and outfielders, but all will be considered!).

We believe that success is a product of hard work with outstanding ATTITUDE and EFFORT. NOTES: There is NO "daddy-ball" and players will receive a college level playbook, quality/productive practices, speed and agility, as well as learning all mental aspects of the game.
The Black Sox are coached by Paul Bradley, Director of Baseball Operations at Sandlot Sports in Cypress.
